Cigar Box 4 string

Finished a new cigar box guitar.
This one with a longer scale length then I usually do, 17 inches.

Materials: Rosewood finger board - bridge - end where the strings rest, ebony nut, popular neck with rosewood heel cap.

Really gotta get working on recording all of these

Gourd Kalimba 9 note

Another new kalimba (these are fun to make!)

This one is made using a small gourd this time, with 9 notes.

Materials: Small gourd, bike spokes for the tines, padauk and brass where the tines sit and holding them down is 2 bolts through walnut wood, some pine as the sound board.

CigarBox Kalimba - 15 note

This one is a step up from the first one, with 15 notes.
This time the tines are made from bike spokes, came out really good sounding!

Materials: Cigar box, bike spokes for the tines, padauk and brass where the tines sit and holding them down is 2 bolts through walnut wood with another piece inside the box.
